Gareth Davies MP met with the Woodland Trust this afternoon to discuss how we can continue the excellent work ongoing at a national and local level to protect, preserve, and promote our trees and woodlands for the enjoyment of all.
The Woodland Trust is based right in the heart of Grantham, and Gareth was grateful for them sharing details of the success of their work on both a Northern Forest and on our doorstep in Londonthorpe Woods.
This all builds on the significant funding the local area has received from the national government to boost tree-planting across Lincolnshire.
