Grantham Hospital Sign

This morning, Gareth was informed by Andrew Morgan, Chief Executive of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust that the critical incident at Grantham Hospital has been stood down.

After accidental damage to a water pipe, the hospital had to divert ambulances from the emergency department.

Elective services were cancelled but will resume from tomorrow, the 13th January. Meanwhile, the emergency department is open for all emergency care and patients are encouraged to attend their appointments if they do not otherwise.
