It was excellent to join my colleague Dr Caroline Johnson MP and the Chief Dental Officer for England this morning to hear an update from the University of Lincoln on the campaign for a Lincoln Dental School.
We all know that NHS dentistry is an issue in Lincolnshire and these plans are crucial to seeing improvements, with dentists training and then hopefully staying in our area.
This work builds on the recent opening of the Lincolnshire Institute of Dental and Oral Health that will soon start training for dental nurses and hygienists locally, and I will be continuing to support however I can.
