Gareth Davies MP was interviewed by Sky News this morning where he provided some much needed clarity regarding the Labour Government's botched plans to reform health and disability benefits, following concessions made to appease a left-wing Labour backbench rebellion.

Gareth said:

"I know many people will have heard of the chaotic scenes in the House of Commons on Tuesday where the Government had to effectively rip-up their own benefit reforms to appease left-wing Labour backbenchers.

Spending on health and disability benefits is set to reach £100 billion by 2030, more than we spend on defence or our schools, but now the Government’s Bill will likely not save the taxpayer a single penny."
