Whether the Middle East, Arctic, or South China Sea, the world is becoming an evermore dangerous and unpredictable place.
In safeguarding Britain’s interests and future prosperity, in Lincolnshire we have always played our part in supporting our Armed Forces. Grantham’s Prince William of Gloucester Barracks continues this, playing a crucial role as a logistics base and by training the majority of British Army Reservists.
Despite this, the Government is determined to close our barracks in 2028.
We must wake up to reality. Our allies and our enemies alike are rearming and now is not the time to close one of our most important training establishments. The Government should think again and guarantee the future of our barracks into the next Parliament and beyond.
